House Rules (Chicagoland Vampires #7): review

Title: House Rules(Chicagoland Vampires #7)Author: Chloe NeillRating: 4 out of 5 starsRelease Date:February 5th, 2013Publisher: PenguinAge Group: AdultSource: ARC provided by the publisher With most Book Sevens, I am usually checking release schedules and making all kinds of martyred noises about how series should quit while they’re ahead. Drink Deep: review

Drink Deep: review

Drink Deep (Chicagoland Vamps #5)by Chloe Neill Don’t worry, Chicagoland fans. *pat pat* Everything will be okay. It’s been two months since the nail-biting events of Hard Bitten, and Merit is still dealing with the fall-out from what occurred. Merit has always been a strong, smart and funny heroine, but her loyalty and her honor really come through in this particular book. We also get more kickass fight scenes, interesting political developments as a pending paranormal registration act causes tempers to flare, complicated problems with Merit’s best friend Mallory,… Read more »

Though there were moments where I thought certain things were a little out of character, the big big thing that happens still took me by surprise. Chloe Neill, you have punched me in the face, and now you have to put some ice on it. All I have to say is, if you’re a fan of this series, you have to read Hard Bitten now. Because if you don’t, sooner or later it’s going to get spoiled for you, and believe me, you do not want that to happen. (Don’t read any reviews unless you know the source won’t ruin it!) Besides, the more people… Read more »
