If you’re a lover of fairy tale retellings and gorgeus, atmospheric writing, the next tour we’re hosting may be right up your alley! We host a handful of tours each year for authors or books we love, and the first one for 2015 will be Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge. When the author asked if I’d consider doing this, I didn’t hesitate for a second, since I enjoyed the dark romance of Cruel Beauty so much.

vine-divider-finalTour Details

Rosamund is putting together some terrific guest posts (including some flash fiction pieces!) that I’m pretty excited about. Our goal with these tours is always to help bring new audiences to an author’s work, but also to enhance the experience for existing fans, so you can be sure that these pieces are going to be memorable and special.

We’re working on the specifics of the tour, but the basic details are as below.

Tour Dates:      April 20th – May 1st, 2015
Featuring:        Exclusive guest posts and interviews
Giveaways:      Finished copy of Crimson Bound

Participating bloggers will receive:
— a Crimson Bound galley
— exclusive content
— a shared Rafflecopter code for a finished copy of Crimson Bound.

Crimson Bound When Rachelle was fifteen she was good—apprenticed to her aunt and in training to protect her village from dark magic. But she was also reckless— straying from the forest path in search of a way to free her world from the threat of eternal darkness. After an illicit meeting goes dreadfully wrong, Rachelle is forced to make a terrible choice that binds her to the very evil she had hoped to defeat.

Three years later, Rachelle has given her life to serving the realm, fighting deadly creatures in an effort to atone. When the king orders her to guard his son Armand—the man she hates most—Rachelle forces Armand to help her find the legendary sword that might save their world. As the two become unexpected allies, they uncover far-reaching conspiracies, hidden magic, and a love that may be their undoing. In a palace built on unbelievable wealth and dangerous secrets, can Rachelle discover the truth and stop the fall of endless night?

Inspired by the classic fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood,” Crimson Bound is an exhilarating tale of darkness, love, and redemption.

(This is a standalone novel, not part of the Cruel Beauty Universe.)

Oh, that’s super cool! I just finished this book yesterday and it was gooooood. I mean, I loved Cruel Beauty but Crimson Bound was a very good different. Don’t you just wish they were both linked to one another in some way, though? :/ They have similar covers, titles (the initials) and they’re all fantasy. IT WILL HAPPEN. haha Hope you get wonderful subscribers!

Glad to hear you enjoyed CRIMSON BOUND–I think the marketing people are responsible for the similar design, and they’re both fairy tale-inspired, so I see what you mean. I guess the author just wanted each story to stand alone, though, which is more than fair.
