GIRL ANDROID.
That should probably be the extent of my review, because you can pretty much tell by your reaction to those two words whether or not this book is for you. If they get you nearly crazed with excitement (guilty! I'm raising my hand), you should probably just cancel your dinner plans for next week when the book is released.
If you read the freebie short entitled Origins, you already know that a devastating fire has changed Mila's life. As she's trying to adjust to her life in a new home, she's also suffering from memory loss--not a great way to start off at a new school. It's not too long before Mila realizes that she's not like other girls, however, and the threat of having her secret exposed means she has to go on the run.
Mila 2.0 is one of those books that pumps you full of adrenaline because it's just so. much. fun. After a somewhat uneven first half, there are amazing action sequences in the second half of the book that had me on the edge of my seat to see what happened next. This book has been described as a Bourne-style thriller, and while I'm of the opinion that nothing should be compared to those films because that's just asking for trouble, I can see why that description was used. Between Mila's trying to figure out her past and the fantastic chase and fight scenes in the latter half, there's some truth to those claims.
There are, however, some things I think could have been finessed to make the book better. Aside from a couple of touching moments with Mila's mom, I didn't feel too much of an emotional connection to Mila herself. There is also a woeful overemphasis on romance in the beginning, too many references to Hunter throughout the story that don't pay off, and an annoying, annoying, annoying friend named Kaylee. Overall, better character development, more complexity and less predictability in the story, and a little more strategic thought would have added more depth and emotional stake to Mila's story.
But Mila's story is pretty darned fun, and I think that the things that could have been improved are outshone by the things that are spectacularly well done. This book is pure entertainment, and best enjoyed the way you'd absorb an action film--with popcorn and a big grin. Besides, come on! Remember the first two words I said up there? GIRL ANDROID. She got me right there.
A solidly entertaining debut. Strongly recommended for: fans of action-oriented books such as Divergent and Blood Red Road.
This review also appears on GoodReads. An advance copy was provided by the publisher.

I just finished reading this book and I do have to agree that it was very fun. The first part didn't do much for me, but I understand why it had to be there. Perhaps it could have been shortened a bit though. I was pretty excited at just the android part so I was almost certain I would like this book. I'm glad that you really enjoyed it too!! Fabulous review!!
ReplyDeleteI think you're right--cutting down some of the first half would have helped. A lot of the Hunter/Kaylee stuff probably could have been scrapped. (I don't have an agenda or bias here. :D Not at all.)
DeleteBut I'm glad you liked it overall, too! Fun stuff.
OMG this looks great! I am really looking forward for the it to be released. I love fast paced books that are just fun to read. Great review!!!
ReplyDeleteSapir @ Diary of a Wimpy Teen Girl
Oh fabulous, I've been wanting to read this one since I first laid eyes on it and from the reviews I've read so far I think it will deliver for me :D I loved the intensity you described and how fun it sounds! Thanks for sharing & for the opportunity to win Wendy!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all the cover is absolutely stunning and that alone already makes me want to read it. Besides the blur sounds so tempting. I've never read any scifi before so this book will be the first. ;)
ReplyDeleteI've heard tons of great things about this book, and as a huge fan of sci-fi, I can't wait to read it. Glad to hear it's such an entertaining and fun read!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read this one, it's lying on my kindle screaming read me, so I need to pick it up soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it was fun and that you flew through reading. Girl Android sounds interesting, I think I'll develop more of an opinion when I read.
Fabulous review! :)
Although this is a fun novel full of action, I feel like the lack of emotional connection makes this a novel that just isn't for me. I've heard so many mixed reviews, though, so I should probably check it out anyway. Great review, Wendy!(:
ReplyDeleteI think you're probably a little more discerning than I am when it comes to certain books, Keertana. ;) I liked this one a lot, though, and I can overlook a lot if there are other aspects of a book that i enjoy. Maybe a library read if you're curious!
DeleteThe cover looks amazing! I have heard a mix of reviews about this book, but I am eager to find out for myself. Thanks so much for your review. I hope I enjoy this book as much as you did.
ReplyDeleteI just wrote my review today and I had the exact same feelings. The action was A++ but I felt somewhat disconnected from Mila. Can't go wrong with androids, though, right?? It was a fun book.
ReplyDeleteOh Kate, I'll have to come check out your review when it's posted! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who didn't fall totally in love with Mila, although I did feel for her later on in the book.
DeleteBut yeah. Girl robots. I'll meet you for the next one, hah.
I am so excited for this! "Girl Android" gets me, too.
ReplyDeleteThis seems so cool!
ReplyDeleteThis seems pretty fun, can't wait to read it c:
ReplyDeleteI'm writing my review for this one soon, and I basically agree with you. Did we even need Hunter for the love triangle? He's a cute guy she knows for about two days who disappears after the first half. And Kaylee might as well be three different people. There was an interesting idea there, but she was written terribly. Yet the parts in the compound were awesome.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the developing triangle (although, for those who haven't read it, there's nothing there yet. We just know it's going to happen.), but my guess is Hunter's going to play a bigger role in the next book. His presence in this one was just awkwardly handled, though--too much of him at the beginning and too many reminders, without anything really happening.
DeleteI do like Lucas, though. Should be interesting to see how all those characters' relationships develop in #2.
I just love all the excitement at every turn in sci-fi thrillers, and how ANYTHING can happen. Keeps you turning the pages 'til the very end.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you on the review wendy. I found it to be mother daughter adventure. I saw a slight triangle but overall it was an interesting concept.
ReplyDeleteYes, I was surprised by the mother/daughter bond too, Julie! In the beginning I wasn't sure I really felt it, but I was convinced later on.
DeleteThe synopsis seems awesome, and I really like the cover, too! :D
ReplyDeleteI've heard really great things about this book! And I love sci-fis in general, mostly because they show us what the future might look like. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI've been DYING to read this book!! This review merely confirms that I have to get my hands on it ASAP! :)
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, Kaylee was such a HORRIBLE FRIEND!! Poor Mila, getting mixed up with her and thinking Kaylee thought about her at all. And wasn't the facility scary? Last place I'd want to be!
ReplyDeleteWe probably shouldn't even call her a friend. But I figure we've all been in those situations where you're new and don't want to rock the boat and end up hanging out with all kinds of people you would normally hate--so I kind of get why Mila put up with it. Kind of.
DeleteAnd YES, the compound was awesome! Those scenes were really well done.
fingers crossed :)
ReplyDeleteI read the free e-book for this book a little bit ago, and loved it. I can't wait to read this book, whenever I'm able to get my hands on it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big sci-fi reader, but I'm slowly introducing myself to reads like Under the Never Sky (loved) and Divergent (very soon). So, the more exposure, the more of a chance I'll get sucked in lol xD
ReplyDeleteI have wanted to read this for so long, while the cover drew me in the plot is what made me really excited. I love the whole sci fi and action aspects of the book make me so eager to read it. Your review makes me even more excited for this book to come it, it sounds great!
ReplyDeleteWell, Girl Android pretty much sold me on this, but I've been looking forward to this book for a while. I feel like I've been hearing good things about it for months, and it's one of my most anticipated reads of 2013!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to this one! (I thought I commented already but looks like I lost it) This is high up on my most anticipated books of 2013!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to read this book! The cover had me completely hooked and reading the synopsis was icing on the cake! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure the last android book I read was Cinder, and she was a cyborg...so I don't know that I've read a full-out android book yet! I don't know that I was looking forward to Mila 2.0 before this, but hearing that it's thrilling and fun has gotten me excited!
ReplyDeleteYou know, she's written more like what we'd normally think of as a cyborg, Kelly, but she's described as technically a machine, with just enough cells to pass as a human on the surface. As a 2.0 version she's able to simulate emotion, etc. but (and I don't think this is a spoiler for anybody) she actually does feel things.
DeleteSo yeah...she seems more like a cyborg to me. But she's called an android, at least for now, so we'll go with that! I'm glad you're excited about the book. :)
Girl android! :D
ReplyDeleteSorta kinda reminds me of Marissa Meyer's CINDER, although cyborgs and androids aren't the same exact thing...Sounds really good! Waiting for the book is so hard! >.<
I was just talking to Kelly (right above you) about the android vs. cyborg thing. :) I hope you enjoy this one as much as you enjoyed CINDER!
DeleteOkay, I'm not going to lie, I'm really excited to read the book because of the cover. It's gorgeous! Also scifi is one of the best.
ReplyDeleteThe cover is beautiful and the book sounds amazing!
ReplyDeleteI have been dying to read this book! It sounds fantastic and is right up my alley!
ReplyDeleteI've always enjoyed Science Fiction stories and this one sounds wonderful. As soon as I read GIRL ANDROID I was hooked.
ReplyDeleteI was sad I hadn't got this one but then I saw a few mixed reviews and thought maybe it was for the better, but your review has me definitely wanting to read it now!
ReplyDeleteI get why some people have had trouble with it, Candace--it definitely sketches over some things, but I thought that the second half was so fun, and so well done, that I didn't mind the first half so much. Story's getting good. :)
DeleteI agree on the romance element. And I have a sneaking suspicion he is not everything he seems. DUN DUN DUNNNN. Even with its flaws, this was so much fun to read. Can't wait for the sequel.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Hunter's definitely not what he seems on the surface, I'm sure. But I wish that weren't so obvious!
DeleteI'm glad you liked it too, Tonya--I'm really looking forward to book 2 as well.
This book sounds amazing. I never thought I was much on the sci-fi genre, but more and more books are coming out that appeal to me. They provide a unique look at "what if" scenarios. Definitely adding this to my need to get list!
ReplyDeleteThere are a TON of young adult sci fi books coming out this spring/summer, bebecald. Most of them are pretty good, too. :)
DeleteOh Wendy! You sold me on this one. Haha! I've been pretty interested about this book the first time I saw it in goodreads but I did have some qualms since I'm not really into sci-fi and android stuff. But seeing as I have enjoyed Cinder so much I think there are much greater probability that I'm going to enjoy this book too. And you make it sound sooo fun! Thanks for the pretty convincing review although I wish the giveaway's international. Lol! :D
ReplyDeleteEunice @ Book Overdose
Hah, I LOVE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS. :D
DeleteIt really isn't all that similar to CINDER except on the surface, and it's not a perfect book--but it definitely is ton of fun. :) And yeah, sorry about this one not being international. Most of our giveaways are, but we've had so many recently that my pocketbook is starting to object.
This sounds like an amazing book! Almost puts me in the mindset of "Cinder."
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an amazing book! Puts me in the mindset of "Cinder." :)
ReplyDeleteGirl Android FTW. I don't know what it is about this whole cyborg thing - it might be that the writer in me wishes I felt I could write it well, or maybe something totally unrelated - but I love-love-love the idea.
ReplyDeleteThis one's already on my TBR list - I'd love a shot at an advanced copy! :)
Ang
A teen girl Bourne? Of course I want to read it! Can't wait to get this one!
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've had my eye on this since I saw the cover! I love anything sci-fi, especially when the android or robot is FEMALE! Thanks for such a fantastic giveaway:)
ReplyDeleteNow here's a question for you... Other issues aside, do you think the lack of an emotional connect to Mila was intentional on Driza's part? I mean, it's a risky tactic to impart on readers but since Mila IS an android, it would sort of make sense. Just a thought. I think the concept on this one is just fantastic and if it gives the fist-pumping sort of action that the Bourne movies do, well, count me in my friend!
ReplyDeleteI actually considered that, Nikki--but I don't really think so. Mila does feel things, although she's not really supposed to feel as much as she does. It's just the way things are written in the first half of the book don't really lend themselves to your identifying with her as much, and I would say it's still possible for readers to feel something for a character even if there isn't specific emotional descriptions, too.
DeleteBut it's very fun--and the action is totally fist-pumping. :) I'm glad you're going to give it a shot!
I want to read this book so badly. I love the cover. I like sci-fi books because there are so many possibilities in the world.
ReplyDeleteGreat review! I've long been fascinated by cyborgs and androids, so as soon as I read your comment in the beginning, I started paying even closer attention.
ReplyDeleteI'm really tempted to read Origins now, but I'm afraid that if I do, I'll just want Mila 2.0 ASAP. Good thing I only have to wait a few more days! xD
We've talked some about this one on GoodReads, but I just wanted to applaud this review again. It's totally honest, which I love. This one is gaining a LOT of buzz, and I think it's one that actually deserves it. I did connect emotionally to Mila more than you did, but hopefully that will happen for you in the sequel/s, Wendy! Thanks for chatting with me about this on GR!
ReplyDeleteMolli | Once Upon a Prologue
See, GIRL ANDROID - that is EXACTLY why I want to read this book! I'm always interested in sci-fi based books, but this one sounds killer.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really fun! Thank you! Annie C
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really fun! Thanks , Annie Curtis
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading all sorts of books, but I find sci-fi especially fun to read because of its creativity and stories of the "unknown." There's wonderful possibility in sci-fi. Thanks so much for this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteZara Alexis @ The Bibliotaphe Closet
My review for this went up today too. You might have liked this a little more than I did. I just wish I could have liked Mila more. Great review Wendy!
ReplyDeleteGirl Android?! I am totally sold. I love science fiction but I find there isn't it enough of it with female characters. Excited to check this out!
ReplyDeleteLoved your review Wendy. So glad you like it. The ending leaves me hanging and wanting more :)
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to this book! The cover is just gorgeous! I think it will be unlike anything I have read before! Loved reading your review!
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting! I am re-reading Divergent right now and I forgot how much I love action-oriented stories! Definitely going to check this one out.
ReplyDeleteI have heard so many good reviews about this book! I absolutely love action books, so I can't wait to get my hands on this one. =D
ReplyDeleteI've been dying to read this book. It just sounds so interesting -- and the cover is beautiful. I've been reading a lot of good reviews of this book, too. At first I was concerned about the pace because the book is on the long side (480 pages, right?), but I read a post by Jennie at Alluring Reads about how the pace was actually really good, even with the length of the book. Thrillers are my favorite type of book -- paranormal, sci-fi, mystery, any -- because of the pacing. If the story makes me want to read, read, read and forget about the world outside of the book, then I'm a happy camper. For me, thrillers always manage to hit the spot.
ReplyDeletelooks awesome! I've been looking for a new book forever
ReplyDeleteThis looks awesome! i've been looking for a new book to read
ReplyDeleteI love MILA 2.0: Origins: The Fire. It was great so I can't wait to read this one :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great book. Being a technology tinker myself, anything sci-fi-ish in a YA book catches my attention. ANYTIME.
ReplyDeleteBeing a technology tinker myself, anything sci-fi/cyborg/android-ish just makes me want to squeal. And looking at your review, Wendy, and the gorgeous cover makes me want this book even more.
ReplyDeleteI was pretty excited to read this book just based on the synopsis, but when you mentioned that Divergent fans would like it, I was sold. ;) Definitely picking up Mila 2.0 this week!
ReplyDeleteThe synopsis sounds similar to Hanna (minus the android part), a movie I loved. I can also see the comparisons to Bourne.
ReplyDeleteThe concept is fabulous and does not sound too far-fetched.
I've read a lot of reviews of Mila 2.0 over the past couple days and definitely want to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I passed over this book the first few times it popped up in my feed. However, the novel is getting some awesome coverage, and now I'm ready to admit that I want it. The premise sounds repeated, but it does have some great potential.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this book! I love both sci-fi and thrillers and anything with robots is an instant win.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this a little less than you did, Wendy, but I still liked parts of it well enough. I agree about the references to Hunter. The emphasis here confused me as I was expecting him to have a larger role in the book in the end. I also had some trouble connecting with Mila at times, but thought she was pretty interesting overall. :) I don't think I'll continue with the series, but I'm glad you liked it. Great review as always!
ReplyDeleteI agree with this review 100%. I had so much fun reading it, those tests that she has to go through, wow! I also thought that the beginning was a little off kilter but I liked how it introduced Mila as this girl who is struggling to come to grips with a loss and then everything changed, I think the beginning helped us feel her emotions at finding out the truth much better. Kaylee was a snot. I didn't like her at all and the romance could definitely use some work. Hopefully the next instalment works on the romance but doesn't lose the fun. Fabulous review!
ReplyDeleteI've been dying to read this one forever! It's been on my 2013 most aniticpated debuts list and TBR since I first found out about it last year! Normally I'm not a girl andriod fan but maybe the beautiful cover and intrguining synopsis definetly swayed this one for me!
ReplyDeleteGreat Review :)
Lily @ lilysbookblog
Oh my word. I've been hearing about this book forever. Like you, I was hooked from the moment I heard there were androids involved. Hooray for androids!
ReplyDeleteI just want to know why there isn't more true YA sci fi novels. I mean, it's a huge adult genre, and dystopia is going to get old eventually.
ReplyDeleteI read Origins and I loved it! I can't wait to read this one! I mean, androids!! Sci-fi isn't my favorite genre, I really enjoy reading them. I hope I like this one too!
ReplyDeleteThe cover looks interesting and I could use a good Sci-Fi book to read!
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of this book, and the concept seems really interesting. I will defiantly read this when it comes out!
ReplyDeleteI was really looking forward to reading this because it sounded so action-packed, but have lowered my expectations somewhat because of the romance. It's still something I'd read though.
ReplyDeleteI am reading this right now and I am loving it. I am about 60% in at this point and am anxious to see where it goes next. To be honest though, I am very connected to Mila and I quite like her. This book is sitting at a solid 4 for me right now and hopefully it will make that leap to 5, but I doubt it, because if it's not there already, I rarely change my mind this far in. You are right about the action sequences. They are thrilling. The scenes in the airport...OMG. But I was under the impression we were SUPPOSED to dislike Kaylee. Great review, Wendy!
ReplyDeleteI just finished this one this past weekend and really enjoyed it. Completely agree with what you said about Kaylle and Hunter. I wasn't too fond of the beginning just because of the Kaylee situation and the rushed 'falling for' Hunter. I don't trust him yet. But everything else I really liked. I didn't think the android thing would work for me but this book surprised me and it did! Great review!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read a whole of of YA sci-fi, but I'm really interested in the fact that Mila is an android. It kind of reminds me of Cinder by Marissa Meyer.
ReplyDeleteI have an ecopy waiting for me on Netgalley and this review make me want to download and read it right away. The two words "GIRL ANDROID" make me very excited. Like Joie, this book reminds me a bit of Cinder - a book a freaking love :D
ReplyDeleteMel@thedailyprophecy.
I like the other wordliness of sci-fi books...really gets me to thinking, ya know?
ReplyDeleteBeth
Ooh, you're right Wendy. You had me at Girl Android. I must confess that I haven't heard of this until now, but it does sound like something I'd enjoy. I think the whole falling in love with the sound of it, is probably because I've been reading Cinder and am now keen on reading ALL THE ANDROID ya novels possible because of it. Thoroughly enjoyed reading your review - and will definitely be giving it a try, despite and in spite of the niggling issues you've had with it. Good luck to all the entrants for the giveaway! :-)
ReplyDeleteYES. I really loved this book too, Wendy! The whole idea of a girl android drew me in from the very beginning. Kaylee annoyed the heck out of me too and while I liked Hunter there wasn't too much substance to him. Definitely anticipating the next book though! Fantastic review like always. xx
ReplyDeleteYou had me at "amazing action sequences"! :D Thanks for the review and giveaway, Wendy. :)
ReplyDeleteI confess that at first I thought it was a second book so I didn't ask for it. What a wrong idea I should have tried. thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe synopsis sounds AWESOME, and the hype surrounding this book becoming a TV show has me really interested.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! :)
Wendy, I love when we agree on books. We're usually either exactly in agreement or completely opposed, it seems like. This one was tons of fun and very absorbing, but I did think the emotional impact was lacking. At the same time, I'm not sure how much it was intended to be an emotional read. It's sort of action fluff, which I don't mean to sound as insulting as I know that does sound.
ReplyDeleteI will admit that this didn't automatically jump out at me, and the lack of connection with her mom and the slow beginning with characters that I'm not sure come back around again (I think I saw that in another review), bothers me. BUT I do like fast paced action books, especially Bourne style, so that is definitely a high mark. Is this part of a series? I may wait to see where it goes first. But glad that you liked this one.
ReplyDeleteWhile Mila 2.0 is not high up on my to-read list, the action-oriented element is attractive for someone who finished Divergent (for the first time ever) yesterday. Also, I'm intrigued by the comparison so Bourne even though I totally agree with you on that. Great review, Wendy!
ReplyDeleteSana @ artsy musings of a bibliophile
I love dystopian novels. I cannot wait for this one to be released. Plus, I trust your reviews.
ReplyDeleteI love thrillers! And this book sounds like one that I will love! I love the cover and the sypnosis sounds awesome!
ReplyDeletevery interested in reading this. Never read a robot book before!
ReplyDeleteI have never read a sci-fi thriller before, at least, never one like this! This one sounds so different! Looking forward to it :)
ReplyDeleteI liked Cinder..more than i thought I would..hopefully this will be the same.
ReplyDeleteThe main reason I would love to read Mila 2.0 is because the main character seems to be both strong and somehow flawed - she's had to be redone, right? And I love reading SF, if it's well done, it makes me feel like I live in a place so different from our world I'm just amazed someone has the imagination to write about it. And also the talent to make me see it, too.
ReplyDeleteWasn't terribly into this one. I agree that the action was well written, and you pointed out much of the same flaws (character development, the romance, Kaylee/the mean girl cliche) that I had, except it just seems that I didn't have the same experience reading the book? I think it has huge appeal, but I found it harder to get through, especially the beginning, which made me more restless for the thriller elements.
ReplyDeleteAnother sci-fi book to be added into TBR list on goodreads! ;). I hope this makes up for the other sci-fi book that have made me quite disappointed. Nonetheless, I have heard about this book for quite awhile, hope it reaches the library or bookstore here soon.
ReplyDeleteI have always found SF fascinating because of the incredible, if not unbelievable, inventions, circumstances, creatures, places, etc. that authors have imagined. It's fantastical and always makes me wonder if it could really happen.
ReplyDeletecc_clubbs[at]yahoo[dot]com
This definitely had my adrenaline pumping for most of the book. I am starting to really like sci-fi novels especially how authors have become so creative in their plots.. an ANDROID? how awesome is that!
ReplyDelete- Juhina @ Maji Bookshelf
I'm excited to read this book because I also heard how they are going to do a tv show based off of it. I want to read the book before the tv show that's my reason! Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win! I've been excited to read this because of the futuristic/sci-fi theme and the unique story. Love the fast pace too!
ReplyDeleteI'm just starting to get into sci-fi. I used to stay as far from it as possible, but I am broadening my book horizons. I loved Cinder and Scarlet so I think it's working! Mila 2.0 seems like a good book to continue my venture into sci-fi.
ReplyDeleteI just love sci-fi novels~ Cinder was really good and I love how these kinds of books give you a lot of space to think and just completely broadens your imagination. Anything could be possible~ Really excited to read this book!
ReplyDeleteI love the whole concept of the androids are like people thing~ How they live, have feelings just like anybody. I think that the sci-fi genre is one of my favorite genres~ the way how it broadens your imagination and gives you so many more possibilities to like expand your thinking... I loved Cinder and I'm really excited to read this book~
ReplyDeleteI think sci-fi is fascinating. It really makes you think. And the concept of androids brings up a number of interesting issues.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover for this book, have to admit that might be the biggest reason I am soooo interested.... Pretty!! I love thrillers though, being kept in suspense is the best kind of thrill when reading for me.
ReplyDeleteOh, I have been eagerly awaiting for this book! I LOVE sci-fi genre and this book is just the type of books I'm in to!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I was intrigued by the idea that she's not quite real and on the run. I've also heard a lot of posts and reviews about Mila 2.0, so I thought I'd give it a shot if given the chance. :)
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm not wildly excited for the suggested romantic themes in this book, I'm very interested in the girl android, sci-fi aspect of this book and look forward to reading it.
ReplyDeleteSince I liked THE DIFFERENT GIRL and CINDER, I'm thinking this book will be for me!
ReplyDeleteThis book seems different than your average book, so I can't wait to read it :)
ReplyDeleteThe cover really grabbed my attention, and have heard a number of great reviews about it, so I hope I win to find out for myself!
ReplyDeleteI have just recently realized I was into sci fi and paranormal books and now I just can't get enough of them! I love this cover, plus the plot sounds so interesting. A girl who doesn't even know that she is an android? Awesome
ReplyDeleteI have read some good reviews on this book and i have been dying to check it out!! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of Sci-Fi books simply because they allow us to escape from the normal everyday life. I like for thinks to be out there, but to still have that realistic touch about them as well.
ReplyDelete
