    2. I'm STOKED to read Splintered! I plan on reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland before it, but the story itself sounds just amazing :)

    7. I'd want Splintered and The Murmurings.Splintered more out of curiosity then anything else because I've heard good things about it. The Murmurings however seems right up my alley, I am going through the phase where I crave Mystery and Thrillers and well.. this one definitely sounds like what I would want.

Thanks so much for the giveaway :)

    10. I'm not technically "excited" to read it, but I really want a copy of The Murmurings. Even if I dislike it, the cover will give me the nightmare fuel I need. Seriously, her stare is just creepy no matter what's inside the book.

(That sounds odd, doesn't it? It just so happens I have amazing nightmares that give me great ideas, so I endure the terror for something awesome.)

I like the sound of Bruised, though. I'd snatch that one up in a hurry too.

    11. I am on a quest to read as many books as I can before I have my second baby in July...then life will be a little crazy for awhile and my love for reading will take a backseat to my love for being Mom. I would love to read Splintered, Legacy of the Clockwork Key and Spellcaster. Thanks for the giveaway :)

    16. Awesome contest! Legacy of the Clockwork Key catches my eye, based on cover work alone. The synopsis looks promising, and I'm always a sucker for those types of stories.

      ReplyDelete
    17. I've read Splintered and Pivot Point already, and luckily really enjoyed them both. Though Splintered definitely went down in history as one of my all time favorites. (BOOK TWO PLEASE BE HERE NOW-LIKE.) But I think I'd go with The Murmurings - because I mean, what a creep-tastic title and cover!

      ReplyDelete
    18. I really want to read unremembered or the murmurings! These books both sound fantastic! The covers are so lovely! Thank you for your generous giveaway!

      ReplyDelete
    19. Ooooh! I'm super-psyched about several of these books, especially UNREMEMBERED an BRUISED. I'm a fan of fiction that deals with memory, so I'm going to have to go with UNREMEMBERED (great title, BTW!).

      ReplyDelete
    20. Wow, Legacy of the Clockwork Key and The Assassin's Curse sound amazing! Steampunk, pirates, assassins, mysteries, clues... What more could you want? I'm bummed college has been keeping me from staying up on my new YA releases, b/c these sound fab. Thanks for the chance to win!

      ReplyDelete
    21. I think I still wanna try The Murmurings even though it didn't live up to the cover and summary. I'd also like to read Splintered. I've seen good things about it.

      ReplyDelete
    22. I would love to read Splintered! Both because I've heard good things about it, and because, for once, I'm really loving the cover so much I just want to read the book.

YAY for an awesome March giveaway!

    25. Such a fantastic giveaway1 Can I say that I'm excited to read them ALL? Because I totally am...

But if I had to choose I'd pick Splintered because I'm a sucker for retellings of any kind, and Pivot Point because the premise sounds super unique!

      ReplyDelete
    26. I'm really excited to read Unremembered, it so isn't a me book, but at the same time I'm trying to read new stuff and branch out so I'm excited to read it.

    28. What a great way to do a giveaway! I'll mention it (with a link) in my News & Notes feature on Saturday. And I'd love to win any of these -- I'm in the middle of Splintered, which I borrowed from the library (and am really, really enjoying). I've neither read nor own any of the others, so I'd be delighted with any of them.

      ReplyDelete
    29. I'm really interested to read Bruised, in part because it's gotten such stunning reviews, and in maybe larger part because Wendy didn't think it was as amazing as everyone else seems to. I also think it's a really interesting take on PTSD and am interested to see how much of the book is a genuine exploration of Imogen's complicated feelings about this robber and how much is a soapbox about gun control and gun violence. I'm hoping it's the former, as then I'll be a four or five star review and have the privilege of reading something horrible in a beautifully handled way. If it's all soap box I'll be disappointed, but those are the books I weirdly end up writing my most thoughtful reviews on (See: Tiger Lily).

    30. Fantastic giveaway! Too many great and interesting books!!!

    31. I don't know if I could pick which I'm most excited for. They all look great and I'd love to read every single one of them! Thanks for this giveaway!

      ReplyDelete
    32. Each of the books seems like a promising read and it was hard to narrow it down, but I'd love to read Pivot Point. Based on the reviews and the synopsis it seems like my kind of book and I'm excited to read it.

Thank you for the giveaway and good luck to everyone.

      ReplyDelete
    37. Thanks for the international giveaway! I'm very excited to read Bruised because I've read some great early reviews and love contemporary novels.

      ReplyDelete
    38. I'm really excited to read Splintered by A.G. Howard. I've been hearing some mixed things about it but that's completely fine with me. I like checking out books that people don't agree with and seeing where I find myself after I've read it. It's always interesting to see where people have different perspectives on different things.

      ReplyDelete
    39. So excited about this!! It's so rare that intl entries get to win an actual book rather than an ebook! So want to read Spellcaster, Unremembered, Pivot Point, Splintered and Brusied! Heck they are all awesome choices lol :-)

      ReplyDelete
    40. Probably Splintered! I love Alice in Wonderland so much, and I'm eager to see what this retelling is like. :) Thanks for the giveaway!

    41. Super keen on reading Pivot Point. I've heard great things about it and it's the kind of book that I know I'll love. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

      ReplyDelete
    42. This is an awesome giveaway, I have to say!
Splintered is the book that I've had my eye on (and for good reason, I mean look at the lovely cover!). I've been really into fairy-tale retellings the last little while (though I think this is more of a "sequel" to Alice in Wonderland).

      I enjoy you girls' reviews!

      Crossing my fingers. :)

      ReplyDelete
    43. Unremembered! All the reviews so far sound like it will be a great read and the premise sounds really cool!

      ReplyDelete
    44. This is a great giveaway! There are at least 5 books here that are in my tbr pile. But if I had to choose I think that the book that I want to read most is splintered. Thanks for this giveaway! :D

    47. Awesome giveaway! I'm most interested in Pivot Point, Unremembered, and The Murmurings. They all pursue plots that seem new to me, or that I haven't read about often. (I've already read Splintered, otherwise it'd be on my list too ;) )
Thanks for the chance to win, and for making it international!

      ReplyDelete
    48. Well, this is a really awesome idea! Pick me, pick me! :)

      ReplyDelete
    49. I have to be honest and say that part of why I'm so thrilled about this giveaway is the simple fact that SO. MANY. of the books are already on my tbr list. However, if I could pick one or two that have my interest the most? Maybe Unremembered and The Murmurings, because as of right now, I know nothing about either of them, and I'm not even sure how that's possible. Ha. :)

      ReplyDelete
    50. I think I'd choose either Pivot Point. Thanks for this giveaway!

      ReplyDelete
    51. Thanks for this giveaway!I'm really excited to read Pivot Point :)

      ReplyDelete
    52. Oh. My. God. I would love to have those books! I'd choose Pivot Point, because I read it, and dear god, it's amazing. I had to borrow it from the library, because I can't buy books often, so most books come from the library. And I can't keep them forever. :c Anyway, I'd just about die if I had a copy of Pivot Point that I can actually keep. Thank you so so much! <3

      ReplyDelete
    53. Bruised by Sarah Skilton, sounds like a book that would stay with you long after you read it. Thanks!! :)

    54. Ooh, these are really interesting and thoughtful selections--not just the super-hyped books of the moment. I'm very intrigued by SPLINTERED and PIVOT POINT in particular--the latter because I am really excited about parallel worlds right now, coming off a Fringe binge!

      ReplyDelete
    55. My first choice would be Unremembered, I've heard so many good things about it!

    62. "This is where you can make your case instead of just praying that the cruel, unfeeling Rafflecopter gods will smile down upon you!" LOL. The Rafflecopter gods.

Spellcaster by Claudia Gray - because I've read Claudia Gray's other work and have generally enjoyed it, if not overly loved it.

Splintered by A.G. Howard - because a lot of reviewers were really into this Alice retelling and my critique partner also liked it... minus long descriptions? Hm.

The Murmurings by Carly Anne West - because that cover is freaky and I want to read a good horror story, though I think I remember you saying on GR that it's not as scary as that cover promises.

The Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke - because a lot of people were really into this one, and pirates! assassins! curses! fantasy! Really that's all I need to know.

Pivot Point by Kacie West - because almost every reviewer I trust has raved about this book.

      :)

    67. Uh, okay. First of all I have to say great idea for the giveaway letting winners choose. Secondly, great freaking books. HarperTeen is my favorite publishing house right now (and no I'm not just saying that lol). Oh my gosh I have been waiting for these to come out for a while. Out of the pile I only really know of four that are in my TBR list.
      Spellcaster by Claudia Gray
Legacy of the Clockwork Key by Kristin Bailey
      Splintered by A.G. Howard
      Pivot Point by Kacie West
Their stories look amazing as do their covers. I mean, Splintered is drop dead gorgeous. Thanks for the giveaway!!! Whoever wins this is seriously lucky. =]

    68. Oh man, do I hope I win this one!
First of all there are SO many amazing books to choose from! I've been crazy to get my hands on The Assassin's Curse and Splintered.
Second, I just moved and started college (Architecture :D) so it has been especially hard to acquire new books lately, and if there are Giveaway Gods somewhere, they have not been merciful towards me, but here I am still hoping to be The Chosen One this time.

    69. I think something wonky may have happened to my first comment so I'll try this again.

I think this is a great way to do a giveaway and I love these books. I'm especially keen on HarperTeen books right now, they just keep turning out the good ones. I've had four of these books on my TBR list for a while now.

      Spellcaster by Claudia Gray

    73. Thank you SO much for this giveaway, for one!

There are two books I'm super excited to get my hands on: Splintered, and Pivot Point! I have heard so many good things about both books. Splintered's cover is GORGEOUS and would look great on my shelf. :) And I love the concept of Pivot Point and would love to see how it plays out!

      ReplyDelete
    74. (Okay, someone from the comments could win. Okay. I'll do my best.)

Firstly, this giveaway looks amazing. And that pile of books look great too. :3

From the choices you've given us, I would want to read Pivot Point. I've seen it on quite a lot of book blogs, and after reading the summary, it has a lot to offer. And there are just so many glowing reviews about it, and that must mean it's good. It's also hard to resist the lure all those question that the summary provides.

Second in line would have to be The Assassin's Curse. I want to know what this curse is, and the beginning line of the top review signs the deal for me: "The Assassin's Curse opens with a runaway bride making a getaway on a camel. I kid you not."

Lastly, I would like to read Bruised. The cover didn't really pull me in at the beginning, but after reading the summary, I'm in for the book. Once again, there are quite a lot of high reviews for the book, so that means that the author didn't ruin the concept of it all.

      And that's it! :3 Pleasepickme

    75. I really want to read Unremembered by Jessica Brody. I've enjoyed reading her other books and I'm sure I'll also love Unremembered.

      ReplyDelete
    76. I'm not sure which book is the most exciting to read! I've already read Splintered and it's amazing but I'm looking forward to Spellcaster and Unremembered too!

      Thanks for the giveaway!

      ReplyDelete
    77. I want aaaaall the books xD But I think I'd choose either Spellcaster or The Assassin's Curse. I've heard nothing but praise for The Assassin's Curse from my friends, and I'm really curious about Spellcaster. I haven't really read any books on witches, but it sounds like a great read.

Thanks for the giveaway! You've listed some really awesome books :)

    78. Out of all the books, I am most excited on reading Splintered by A.G.Howard. I would usually prefer books that is lay out in a fantasy world as well as books that contains adventure where it can keep me occupied fully. Furthermore, it will be interesting to know how the author will be describing the wonderland to make it into a place ''far darker'' than Lewis Carroll's. More importantly, the protagonist have a choice to make for people who she can trust which also adds on to why Splintered is the book I am more excited for as compared to the rest. :)

    81. Hi Wendy Darling, thanks for the opportunity to win some sweet-hot book candy ;) If I could choose one of the books I would choose "Unremembered" because the idea is just awesome. I really love the "loss of memory" hook and have read several adult novels with it, I'd love to see the YA version :D

      Good luck to everyone!

      ReplyDelete
    82. Hmmm, a chance to "make my case".

Begging, may be considered dramatic, and flattery would be frowned upon.....hmm *light bulb*

First, I would like, Spellcaster, Unremembered and The Assassins Curse. Now to plead my case (insert evil laugh).

Assassin's Curse has a runaway princess pirate bride! Do I really have to say more?

Unremembered has a girl who survived a airplane CRASH! Even if this was non-fiction I would crave it.

Spellcaster has a really pretty cover. It's not an elaborate answer, but hey it's the truth.

Well, Ms. Wendy, that's all I got. Thank you all for the giveaway, and wish me luck! :)

    83. Hi Wendy! :)
Thanks for a great contest, I don't enter into many of those, as according to my husband I have way too many books as it is (he calls me a hoarder *pouts*),but I see Splintered there.. and yes, it's one of the books I've heard amazing things about and am very excited for :)
      Keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks!

    89. Thank you for the generous giveaway Wendy! I would love to win a copy of either Bruised or Pivot Point. Both were books which I had completely overlooked in the first instance, thinking they would not be my type of reads, but then these awesome reviews started trickling in and I knew that I would be a big fan of these great books too. They both also focus on things never really looked at in the YA scene and that's something that drew me to them too! :)

    90. I'd love to get my hands on Spellcaster!

I've recently added it to my to-read shelf on Goodreads since I was aware of it's release. I'm a fan of Hex Hall and The Secret Circle (as mentioned in the summary on Goodreads xD) and the summary did appeal to me as they said it would.

TL;DR: Totally my type of book! c:

    91. Is it odd that I would want The Assasin's curse, even though I've already read it? I have it on my kindle and I just love it so much, I'd want it on my bookshelf lol. But what I'be be most excited to read is Splintered. From what I've read in reviews, it's good. And reminds me of Ivy from batman, who's awesome and super bad-ass

      Thanks for the giveaway!

    95. I would pick Legacy of the Clockwork key because it sounds entertaining and it looks like steampunk. My reading rotation can always afford to have more steampunk in it.

      Thanks for the great giveaway!

    96. I have read three of those books, two that I loved! which are Pivot Point and The Assassin's Curse. More people should read the latter because it is about a pirate and an assassin!!!

    97. Of all these books, I am the most excited to read Jane Austen Goes to Hollywood, Spellcaster, and The Assassin's Curse.

First, I am a Janeite through and through. I not only love Jane Austen's stories, but adaptations of her stories. I LOVE a good Austen adaptation and have been reading them ALL lately. They give me ALL THE FEELS.

Second, I adore Claudia Gray. Her Evernight series was fantastic and brought fun new twists to the paranormal world. Also, Balthazar. DELICIOUS.

Finally, books about assassins should just be read. By everyone, everywhere. Especially if there are pirates involved. Pirates AND assassins = perfect combination.

Thank you for the chance to win.

    99. I'd love to have Splintered. I have seen a lot of great reviews for Splintered and have only heard great things about it. It has been on my TBR list for a while. I have also read the synopsis for The Assassin's Curse and it also sounded great. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

    101. I would love to read Pivot Point, it has been in my to read list for some time and all the reviews I've read so far just make me more curious to read it. A book with two distinct possibilities for the story seems very intriguing to me.

    102. I would love to get Pivot Point. It has been in my to read list for some time (since it was announced in blog posts) and all the reviews that I've read so far make me more curious to read it. The whole concept of two distinct story lines but have the same character seems very intriguing to me.

    107. I'm super excited to read Legend of the Clockwork Key .. the plot is somewhat unique and the blurb just caught my eye when I was reading through and I though "I just have to have it."

Similarly, The Assassin's Curse looks interesting to read as well .. because who wouldn't be attracted to an assassin and pirate book?

      ReplyDelete
    108. I've read 'Splintered' and it was fantastic! I would like to read 'The Murmurings' because it sounds a bit creepy and dark. I have heard great things about 'The Unremembered', and Claudia Gray can do no wrong, so 'Spellcaster' is a must. Also, 'Legacy of the Clockwork Key' catches my attention because I love Steampunk. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway, and keep up the great work!

    109. The book I'm most looking forward to from the books above would be Pivot Point. Aside for reading some amazing thins about it, I love the idea behind it! Being able to see the outcome of every decision you make? Sweet! But then, what if the outcome isn't conclusive... Sounds so intriguing! I'm wondering how the book's going to deal with the double futures, how it'll work! I'm not really a fan of love-triangles (and there seem to be a big chance Pivot Point will have one), but this book intrigues me enough to look past it!

Splintered was my most anticipated read of 2013, and I've already gotten and read it. It's pretty awesome, loved the crazy world!
As for the Assassin's curse, another huge book I'm looking forward too, I already got it, too! It sounds pretty awesome!

Thank you for the awesome giveaway!

    112. Basically, I need Legacy of the Clockwork Key because it is steampunk, the author seems like an awesome person and because they changed the cover, the ARC will have a different cover from the hardcover!! These sorts of things excite me.

Besides that I've yet to find it in a local bookstore. So it's existence is just TAUNTING ME!

And now you are taunting me. Thanks Wendy.

    114. Murmurings has really caught my attention. So many of the kids who come into my library doubt themselves in every way and I really think a good mystery with a girl who questions her own sanity will grab their attention!

Plus I really want to read it too!

    115. I think that I am most excited to read Unremembered. I have read a lot of mixed feeling reviews on it, but the synopsis sounds really interesting to me! A lot of the books in that pile look/sound awesome and I haven't read any of them yet! Thanks for the chance to win them!

The cover and the name are the firs things that caught my attention, Then the story line sounds like it will be a good read! and of course the good ratings! I heard that it was a worth read! SO after all of this I am really intrigued to read it!

    124. It's so hard to pick just one. I'm dying to read Splintered -- I've heard just amazing things about it and I love Alice and Wonderland twists. Unremembered sounds fantastic to me as well. The amnesia thing has been done before (a lot) I know, but I have a lot o faith in Brody and have -- again -- heard really great things about the book. But the Murmurings? I love creepy things and that looks creepy. If I had to pick just one …? I think it'd be Unremembered. Maybe. Or Splintered …

      ReplyDelete
    125. I wanted to run around in circles when I saw The Assassin's Curse. NONE of the stores in my area nor my library carries it, and it sounds amazing. Assassins? Pirates? Curses? YES!

      ReplyDelete
    126. Fab book choices - thank you! I'm most excited about Bruised (despite Wendy's so-so review.) Part of this is due to process of elimination. I've read Splintered, I'm reading Pivot Point, I've got Spellcaster and Murmurings, and I'll have Unremembered soon. But Bruised also appeals to me because the synopsis reminds me somewhat of a very recent and very unpleasant experience of a family member. I'd like to see how Imogen handles her experience.

    127. I love this blog, and the information it provides about all thing book related in every post. Out of this bunch of books I'm most excited about reading Pivot Point. It seems very intriguing, and I've heard lots of great things about it. If not Pivot Point, however, I would like Unremembered, I haven't really heard that much about it, but I was captivated by the synopsis. I HOPE I WIN! :D

    128. 133. I am a bibliophile. Really. I swear, every time I feed my addiction, it gets worse and worse (but I love it).

It's also perfect because all my closest friends are book junkies too, so we just sit and rant/rave about books together (emphasis on the RANT part. I'm not part of how many books I've thrown across the room).

I would LOVE to win Spellcaster. I've been obsessed with witches since Hocus Pocus scared the bejesus out of me when I was younger.

I would also really like to read Unremembered. I feel a special connection to this book after writing a flash fiction about it.

Thank you so much for the giveaway!!

This giveaway, I can't even. I REALLY want UNREMEMBERED. I've read some reviews that have made it sound just so, so good, with a LOT of elements to books that I like/have liked in the past. So it's the one that made me go "YES PLEASE" and know I had to enter. I'd also love to get my hands on SPELLCASTER because witches? YES. Yes. I am so there.

I really can't wait to read Pivot Point! I've heard great things about it and it just has such a unique premise - not just the same concept with different characters, which seems to be so common lately.

Also, I'd love to get my hands on Unremembered. It just sounds like a book full of suspense and I like really having to THINK about a story and what is going on in it.

Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway!

    153. I'm excited to read Pivot Point because I really like the concept of the book. It really intrigues me how complex the choices Addison has to make, how complex her life is. 160. First of all, I must say THANK YOU for this amazing giveaway because really, my mother (and father since no one seems to ever mention them) raised me right.

      Secondly, I would pick:

Unremembered - because I adore Jessica Brody
The Assassin's Curse - because the plot sounds kick-butt
Splintered - because I have been salivating over it for the longest time.

Although it seems as if everyone is picking those. So the fourth pick would be Bruised because my sister Shelver loved that one (and she's not a fan of that genre usually). So I guess I just made my case as well? [insert sob story here] But obviously, I LOVE books otherwise I wouldn't be entering.

Have a very happy month, Wendy :) And thank you publishers!

    161. I'm excited for BRUISED after reading a fabulous review on Clear Eyes, Full Shelves. I like a contemporary with a strong female lead.

    163. Many thanks for the great giveaway! I think it would be difficult for me to choose between Splintered, a book I've read both raving and damning reviews of and am really curious about, and Bruised. I'm interested in Bruised because I practice jujutsu and love everything about the mind-set you acquire together with the fighting skills when you practice any of the Asian martial arts. Also, before reading its blurb I hadn't come across any books featuring martial arts so prominently, so it caught my attention immediately. (If anyone can recommend any, by the way, I'd be more than happy to check them out!) It's very hard to imagine a black belt freezing; we get it drilled in our heads all the time never to stop, even if we mess the technique up, so I'd love to see how the author and the main character dealt with that.

    169. I'd love to read Splintered, because I absolutely love Alice in Wonderland retellings. (Also the Mad Hatter is just an awesome character.) The fact that it's something a little darker makes it even better. The reviews for it have only been gushing, and I've been looking forward to it for ages!

After that, it would be The Assassin's Curse. Pirates? Assassins? Together? Hell yes.

Thank you so much for this amazing giveaway, and for making it international! :)

Of the reviews I've read, this seemed to be a very well-liked book and I'm really curious on how the author incorporated her dark twist into it~~~

Thanks so much for the giveaway! :D

    186. The Spellcaster's murmurings splintered into the Firebrand like a bruise. It was the Assassin's Curse -- she was now doomed to be unremembered, and the legacy of the clockwork key would go down with her, lost in this pivot point just as Jane Austen had been back in Hollywood.

(In other words, I'd love to read any of them! Thanks for this giveaway, it's very generous of you all!)

    199. I'm most excited for Splintered. To be honest I'm a fan of anything Alice in Wonderland and when I heard that this book's main character is a descendant of hers I thought I just have to read this book. Thanks for the giveaway! :D
