In many ways, it seems as though The Midnight Garden really kicked off this year...but our official one-year blogoversary is actually this weekend! It's been so great getting to meet our fellow bloggers and to share so many wonderful books with our readers. We appreciate chatting with you so much, and we hope the next year is filled with tons of exciting reading adventures, too.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, we're giving away two amazing prizes, one to U.S. Kindle owners and a second to our international readers (or those without Kindle devices). Please read the entire post before you fill out any forms so you know which contest to enter.
Win a Spectacular YA Kindle Ebook Prize!
U.S. Kindle owners, have we got an awesome prize for you. We're giving away a huge bundle of 22 YA ebooks worth over $170! Some of my absolute favorite books and authors are in this package, which includes:
a Rafflecopter giveaway Your Choice of Books Giveaway!
Don't own a Kindle? Or a reader from outside the U.S.? Never fear, we love you, too! We will give one lucky winner a mini-shopping spree of their books of choice, up to $25 in value from anywhere in the world that The Book Depository ships.
a Rafflecopter giveaway In addition to the disclaimers on each contest, please note that you may only enter ONE of these two contests so we can keep it fair. Don't forget you can earn extra entries by tweeting daily, sharing the contest on Facebook, etc. Good luck!
Oppression Giveaway Winner!
We're also very please to announce that Becca from Omfg! Books is the winner of the paperback giveaway for Oppression, for leaving a blog post comment. Like almost everyone who answered our question from that contest "What would you do if you could live 5x as long?" she said she'd spend the extra time traveling...and reading, of course! Wouldn't we all love to do that?

Wow, congratulations on the blogversary! ;D And thank you for making the giveaway international <3
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary! And wowsa... what a giveaway. :D *fingers crossed*
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary, Midnight Garden Peeps! This giveaway is so freaking epic! Thank you. For my extra time, I think I'd try to book myself a ticket to the moon, like Lance Bass, but actually go through it with. Why not?! You only live 5 times longer. :)
ReplyDeleteGrats on the blogoversary. If I had that much time, I'd devise evil plans to take over the world. LOL!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the Blogoversary! If I had exgtra time, I would travel and maybe pick up a second college degree so I can have a variety jobs in my long life.
ReplyDeleteI would probably go to school, get a bunch of degrees, and work all of my dream jobs. Like zoologist, oceanographer, park ranger, race car driver, theater actor, etc. You get the idea. Happy blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteHmm.. 5x as long... I'd definitely take good care of myself. I'd keep lots of journals, so there would be 1st hand accounts of the world for all those years. And travel.. live in a different county every 40 years or so. :)
oops, please disqualify my entry on the first contest! I wasn't paying attention when I was entering.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy all the really insightful reviews that are always really eloquent and make me actually think about the book! I also like how there's a touch of humour too and I can trust your recs. :D
What I enjoy most? Thoughtful sensitive reviews from sophisticated YA readers with eclectic and wide ranging tastes. Also you guys can be quite funny at times!
ReplyDeleteAll that extra time... well, I suppose I'd spend more time enjoying every moment I had with my loved ones--knowing that I'll outlive all of them will definitely make me cherish those moments more.
ReplyDeleteYour reviews are always very thoughtful and well written! :D

The thing I like most about your blog is that I feel like I'm reading an honest review. You won't pretend that you liked something that everyone else did when you didn't; you don't act ashamed about loving something that everyone else calls a "guilty pleasure". (There is no such thing, by the way. ;) )
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I have to say I definitely enjoy your reviews the most. They're insightful and I can always count on them to be honest! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I just started following today. But so far, I like your amazing generosity and lovely blog design. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary!! =) Thanks so much for the great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogversary! <3
ReplyDeleteMidnight Garden initially caught my eye because I LOVE the background! It reminded me of those digital art kits I like to create pieces with. Hanging around longer, I went through the reviews and found that I enjoyed them very much.
P.S. I apologize for accidentally putting my name into the first rafflecoptor. Can it be removed? D:

ReplyDeleteHappiest blogoversary!! :-) I am delighted for you all. What I love most about your blog are the great recommendations. I'm a 40+ university administrator, who only started really reading YA in the last couple of years. When I first got started in the genre, it took a while to get plugged in to good recs that matched my reading tastes. So I have been delighted to find you good folks and get such awesome reading suggestions. I hope you keep up this great blog for many years to come! :-)
