freebie alert: YA round-up

December 8, 2011 freebie alert, Wendy 9

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a freebie alert, but here are a few titles that may be worth checking out if you’re in the mood for a little e-present to yourself.

Tortured by Caragh M. O’Brien is a “bridge” short story from Leon’s perspective in the Birthmarked trilogy that is currently free for Kindle. Be aware that you should read the first book before reading this, however, as there are apparently some spoilers in it.

Tomorrow is Today by Julie Cross is a Kindle bonus story that is part of her Tempest trilogy. As you may recall, I wasn’t a huge fan of the first book, but for fans of the story or those who are curious, it’s a great way to sample the author’s style.

Haunted Love by Cynthia Leitich Smith is free pre-order for Nook users at the moment, and is set in the same universe as her popular Tantalize series.

Other Kindle freebies include Moonstone by Marilee Brothers and Indigo Blues by Danielle Joseph.

Don’t forget to double-check pricing before you one-click these books, and be sure to act quickly if you’re interested! You never know how long these freebies will last.

Thanks for sharing this! I got Birthmarked recently and should have my copy of Tempest arriving soon so I’ll have to check out those shorts if I like the books. :)

Ooohhhhh, YAY! Thanks so much for sharing these, Wendy! I’m usually always the last person to find freebies like this (& I have no Kindle LOL!) but I’m kind of interested about Tomrorrow is Today, even though I felt almost the same way about Tempest as you! :)
